Eastern Motors, Al Fahim Group’s automotive member in Al Ain, has been awarded the 2014 Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award (SKEA) Silver Category by His Highness Sheikh Hamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Chairman of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court and the Chairman of SKEA Higher Committee in an incredible evening at Emirates Palace Hotel on 25 November 2014 under the patronage of His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi & Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces .

His Excellency Saeed Abdul Jalil Al-Fahim, Chairman of the Higher Committee of SKEA, praised the exceptional support and continued encouragement of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces. Moreover, he praised the leading role of SKEA in spreading the culture of corporate excellence through the huge participation of the business community in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. He stated that the number of participants exceeded 2,000 this year. Worth mentioning, more than 160 companies from the UAE applied for the award and covered different commercial, industrial, services, health and vocational sectors.

At the closing ceremony, Mr. Frank Bernthaler, CEO of Al Fahim Group Automotive, appreciated his team saying, “I congratulate each and every employee at Eastern Motors and the project team, led by General Manager Mr. Nassim Mourani, for their dedication in pulling the report together and ensuring we met all criteria of the EFQM excellence model. Working as a team with pioneering commitment, Eastern Motors and the shared service departments of Al Fahim Group worked hard every year gradually taking one step closer to the excellence this award recognizes. Today we celebrate this collaborative effort; thank you and we look forward to reaching new heights together.”

Receiving the award on behalf of Eastern Motors, Mr. Mourani added, “Thank you to Al Fahim Group’s SKEA team and Eastern Motors team for their long hours and months of preparation they underwent to submit a winning report of Eastern Motors. I am also extremely proud of every employee in Eastern Motors, without them we would not have reached this far. Excellence is a journey that has a start with no finish line.”
