Abu Dhabi will play host to the 10th Pan Arab Neurosurgical Society Congress on December 4-7, 2014.
Organised by the Pan Arab Neurosurgical Society, the three-day medical meeting will be held under the patronage of Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development under the theme "The Evolution of Neurosurgery in the Middle east." Organisers say around 350 neurosurgeons and spine surgeons will descend on Abu Dhabi to discuss 86 research papers.
Dr Amr El Shawarby, Senior Consultant & Chief of Neurosurgery at Tawam Hospital and Congress Chairman, said three UAE papers will be presented to the meeting.
The scientific program will challenge delegates to optimize the implementation of the latest scientific discoveries and best practices regarding prevention, diagnosis, and the latest advancement in treatment for the various neurosurgical pathologies.
The challenges facing neurosurgeons worldwide and specially the Middle East, while trying to provide the best care for the patients will be addressed.
