Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, attended on Thursday evening, the majestic ceremony that was held by Bani Sa'ida tribe in Al Ain and the Eastern Region on the occasion of the UAE 43rd National Day. 

The UAE national anthem announced the beginning of the ceremony, followed by a documentary film highlighting the life of late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, May God have mercy on his soul. The ceremony also featured national and heritage shows including the famous melody Al Aialah, traditional songs, in addition to performances and compositions that reflected the various components and aspects of the UAE heritage.

Moreover, the poets recited patriotic poems that described their pride in the UAE’s wise leadership and their utmost pride in belonging to this country.  The ceremony also featured a Camel and Horse parade, as well as the ‘traditional convoy’, which roamed the streets surrounding the celebration’s site, as well as a convoy that included dozens of old classic cars decorated in the colors of the UAE national flag.

 In a speech delivered during the ceremony, Khamis Saeed Hamad Al Saadi, the tribe’s representative, conveyed the pride and appreciation of the Bani Sa'ida tribe for the achievements made throughout the Union’s history. They also reiterated their allegiance to the UAE and their commitment to exert further efforts in the service of the country’s glorious march.

At the end of his speech, Khamis Al Saadi, speaking on behalf of the tribe members, extended the warmest congratulations and best wishes to His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE; His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai;  their brothers their Highnesses Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates; General HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces on this auspicious occasion and to Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior for attending and sponsoring the tribe’s celebrations on the occasion of the UAE 43rd National Day.

The ceremony was attended by a number of Sheikhs and tribal dignitaries, notably Mosbah bin Saud Al Saadi, Saud Mosbah Al Saadi, along with a number of officials, dignitaries and a large gathering of citizens.
