The famed Abu Dhabi Classics season continued in Emirates Palace on 7th February 2009 with Latvian cellist Mischa Maisky and Russian award-winning pianist Pavel Gililov presenting some of the most beautiful music ever composed for the combination of cello and piano. The talented duo captivated the audience by performing chamber music by Beethoven, Brahms and Rachmaninov.

The audience left the Emirates Palace Auditorium after the two-hour concert gushing with romance and astounded by the levels of classical music intellect portrayed by the Abu Dhabi Classics season.

Abu Dhabi Classics will continue with The Lord of the Rings Symphony on 13th February 2009, at the Emirates Palace Auditorium, followed by Roby Lakatos – King of the Gypsy Violinist on 14th February 2009, at the Emirates Palace Terrace.
