Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Acting Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of the Interior for Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs, honored a large number of officers, non-commissioned officers, constables and female staff members from the Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs sector, winners of the Minister of Interior’s Excellence Award in the Commander’s category. The honoring ceremony took place at the Abu Dhabi Police Officers’ Club and was attended by Major General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director of Directorate General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, alongside other directors general and officers from  the Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs sector.

Major General Al Khaili assured that the honoring embodies the strategy set out by the Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs sector to motivate its distinguished staff members. “This accolade represents a motive for all of the Ministry’s staff members to fulfill the tasks and duties assigned to them to the fullest,” he said.

Adding further, Major General Al Khaili noted that the Ministry of Interior dedicates significant attention to its creative cadres who contribute to upgrading the level of services, with a view to earning customers’ satisfaction, preserving security and stability and maintaining the unique stature attained by the UAE.

Major General Al Khaili assured that the concept of awards and prizes stems out of the Ministry’s belief in their importance in boosting staff members’ moral and motivating potentials. “Such recognitions also contribute to spreading a healthy competitive spirit among staff members and encourage them to submit efficient initiatives that would upgrade work standards according to the highest levels of quality and excellence,” he noted.

In conclusion, Major General Al Khaili thanked the top-achieving staff members, urging them to apply the best practices at the Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs sector, as a prelude to be adopted across the different sectors of the Ministry of Interior.

Towards the end of the ceremony, the Acting Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for the Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs distributed certificates to the honorees.
