Colonel Saif Ali Al Ketbi, Police College Director General, recently honored 115 distinguished and outstanding officers, non-commissioned officers, constables, and civilians from various department and sections at the Police College; in recognition of their considerable efforts in discharging their duties in the best way possible.
The honoring ceremony was attended by heads of departments, chiefs of sections, lecturers, along with a number of officers from the Police College.
Colonel Al Ketbi noted that this honoring embodies the Police College’s strategy to honor distinguished staff members, out of its firm belief that this will motivate all personnel to carry out the tasks assigned to them in the best possible way.
He also stressed the keenness to upgrade and develop work methods and make achievements according to the institutional excellence standards and efficient participation, so as to upgrade police work. He also highlighted the Ministry of Interior’s commitment to redouble the efforts in order to strengthen security and stability in the country in accordance with the best international standards.
Furthermore, he praised the distinguished honorees’ efforts in performing the tasks and duties assigned to them and encouraged them to maintain continuous excellence and innovation by exerting further efforts. In conclusion, he called upon other staff members to follow in their colleagues footsteps and wished everyone the best of luck and success. Towards the end of the ceremony, Colonel Saif Ali Al Ketbi distributed certificates of appreciation to the honorees.
