Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior received Sushma Swaraj, Minister of External Affairs of the Republic of India and the accompanying delegation, in his office at the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ on Tuesday.
During the meeting, both sides discussed bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and the ways to further strengthen and develop the relations. The talks also touched on the latest developments in the regional and international scenes.
The meeting was attended by Major General Nasser Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Office of HH Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior; Brigadier Ali Khalfan Al Dhaheri, Director General of the Headquarters Affairs at Abu Dhabi Police; and Ouhoud Al Shehhi from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Indian delegation included: Mridul Kumar, Director of Gulf and Arab Affairs at the Indian Ministry of External Affairs; T. P. Seetharam, Ambassador of the Republic of India to the UAE; Neeta Bhushan, Deputy Chief of Mission at the Indian Embassy in the UAE; Namrata S. Kumar Political Counselor to the Embassy; and Vipul, Director of the Indian Minister’s Office.
