Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, met Jamal Ahmed Bafagih, Vice President of the Houston-Abu Dhabi Sister City Association, in his office at the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters on Monday.
Both sides discussed a number of topics of mutual interest in addition to the best means for achieving and strengthening the twining process.
On a separate note, Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, reviewed the PhD thesis in Management entitled: “The Effective Leader in Institutional Change.” The thesis was completed by Major Dr. Saif Salem Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi, Deputy Director of the Strategy and Performance Development at Abu Dhabi Police GHQ, and was obtained from Manchester University in the UK.
The study recommends the need for effective communication between administration and staff and for their engagement in the process of institutional change and development. The research, compiled through surveys conducted by a number of MoI staff members, also discusses the importance of motivating creativity and integrating innovation in order to properly adopt the desired objectives.
Both meetings were attended by Major General Nasser Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Office of HH Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior; Brigadier Ali Khalfan Al Dhaheri, Director General of the Headquarters Affairs at Abu Dhabi Police; Colonel Mohammed Hamid bin Dalmouj Al Dhaheri, Strategy and Performance Development Director General at Ministry of Interior; Colonel Faisal Sultan Al Shuaibi, Director of Strategy and Performance Development at Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters.
