Brigadier Fares Khalifa Al Farsi, Director General of Guards and Special Tasks at Abu Dhabi Police, recognized 26 officers and non-commissioned officers from the directorate who have reached 20 years of service, praising their efforts and contributions to developing the level of services provided by the directorate to both its staff members and the public. He also commended their keenness to pursue further efforts and dedication efficiently and effectively, which contributed to enhancing police work to the highest levels.
In his speech during a ceremony held at the directorate’s headquarters to mark the occasion, he said, “As we honor this prestigious group of staff members, we express our hope that this honoring would become an incentive for them to put in additional efforts in order to enhance the Ministry of Interior’s vision aimed at ensuring that Abu Dhabi remains a society that enjoys safety and security, by providing high quality police services to citizens, residents and visitors of the emirate”.
For his part, Captain Ahmed Al Zubair, from the Special Tasks Department, delivered a speech on behalf of the honorees, by which he expressed their sincere thanks and appreciation to the Head of Department. He also noted that this gesture represents a medal of honor and a strong incentive for them to redouble their efforts in order to achieve the highest levels of performance; so as to complement the higher police leadership’s tremendous efforts to improve work mechanisms and the level of efficiency. He also praised the police leadership’s keenness to honor outstanding employees in all departments.
The ceremony was attended by a number of heads of departments and chiefs of sections; as well as a number of officers and staff members.
