Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD) participated today in the UAE Flag Day celebrations by hoisting the national flag in the ADFD premises, as per the instructions of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

The day coincides with the ascension of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and Ruler of Abu Dhabi.

The ADFD employees expressed their pride in the UAE’s achievements and its national unity. They also pledged their loyalty towards the UAE and their commitment to serving the country and its rulers. 

Director General of the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development, Mohamed Saif Al Suwaidi, said: ”The beloved UAE flag represents a path of prosperity that has defined our nation ever since unity in 1971. The UAE has successfully overcome many challenges thanks to our wise leadership.

”We have many achievements of which to be proud, including the development of world class education, high quality healthcare, ground breaking architecture and economic development. We are now seen globally as a pioneering young nation setting a regional example, and we are delighted to celebrate this success with the rest of the nation on this day.“
