The Abu Dhabi Police and the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority signed, at the ADP General Headquarters premises, a memorandum of Understanding, in the field of inspection operations and related procedures, as well as training.

The signing took place in the presence of Colonel Khamis Musabbah Al Murar, the Acting Director of Security and Ports Affairs in Abu Dhabi Police, and was signed by Colonel Hamid Al Afrit, Head of the Weapons and Explosives Department, representing the police; and Hamad Salim bin Kardous Al Ameri, Executive Director of the Public Services Department at the Investment Authority.

Colonel Al Murar said that the MoU comes under the Abu Dhabi Police strategies that pay a lot of attention to partnerships with all the community segments. Such partnerships have positive outcomes that reflect on performance and services provided to the public.

Colonel Al Murar expressed his appreciation of the cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, valuing the efforts exerted to solidify relations and the procedures that contribute to the public interest. He also lauded the high level at which security services are provided, saying that the MoU would lead to experience exchange and training the personnel of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority on inspection and security procedures.

For his part, Hamad Salim bin Kardous, on behalf of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, expressed his gratitude to Lt. General H.H. Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, for the great attention that H.H. gives to security and the successive development steps in services and procedures. He noted that the communication initiatives by the Abu Dhabi Police towards its partners of governmental departments and institutions enable everyone to cooperate and give their best performance.

Bin Kardous also stated that the relations and ties between the Abu Dhabi Police and the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority will always continue to keep pace with the advancement that serves the society. He appreciated the Abu Dhabi Police approach in positive communication and the big effort in supporting security and stability in the society.
