Leading international car-hire provider Europcar has launched a bespoke customer loyalty program for its Abu Dhabi branches with local digital platform provider UrbanBuz. Creating a customized solution for Europcar, UrbanBuz has tailored the car hire company’s existing international reward scheme and adapted it to better suit its local customers. The new and localized program has been rolled out in October across all of Europcar’s branches in the Emirate.

UrbanBuz was selected by Europcar Abu Dhabi for its ability to create a bespoke digital solution for its customer loyalty and retention requirements, and its in-depth knowledge of the UAE’s consumer landscape and trends. The relationship with Europcar will go beyond providing a platform on which to run their customer loyalty program. In their capacity as consultants, the UrbanBuz team will provide advice, engagement initiatives and staff training to Europcar Abu Dhabi in order to maximize the impact of the Company’s customer relationship outreach.

At the centre of Europcar’s Abu Dhabi loyalty program will be an automated digital survey that provides live feedback to the Company’s management on customer satisfaction and engagement with the rewards scheme. The program will also provide management with data about customer spending patterns.
While Europcar’s international scheme is geared towards the accumulation of number of rental days, the local platform will offer customers instant gratification of between 5% and 15% cash back - an important and popular feature for the UAE market.
