Xerox Corporate Golf Challenge Concludes Qualifiers In UAE

Xerox Corporate Golf Challenge (XCGC) has concluded its last UAE qualifier, the tenth overall round,  at Abu Dhabi Golf Club on Thursday, 16th October.

Winners of the 10th qualifier were Corey Spring and Paul Spinks from team Springks, with a score of 65. They are the last team to be selected from the UAE-based qualifiers for the 36-hole 2-day grand final that will be held at Tower Links and Al Hamra golf courses, Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, in December 2014.

Runners-up, Matt Osborne and Michael Harradine of team Harradine Golf claimed second place with a score of 65 (Countback), edging out Charles Park and Christopher Rossmeisl team GAL, whose score of 68 awarded them third place. Winner of Hole 4’s Crystal Gallery Nearest the Pin was Randy Bradley, Hole 7’s Sport360 Nearest the Pin was Michael Harradine, and Hole 12’s ECCO Nearest the Pin was Craig Bruce.

Longest Drive awards went to Michael Harradine for ECCO’s Hole 9, Craig Bruce for Crystal Gallery’s Hole 17.

The Xerox Corporate Golf Challenge is also seeking to help Noor Dubai in their humanitarian outreach program by sponsoring the cost of one mobile eye camp (US$60,000). This camp is expected to bring up to 500 surgeries and more than 4,000 treatments to patients in a developing country.
