The UAE Minister of Energy H.E. Suhail Mohammed bin Faraj Al Mazrouei, today toured the pavilion of GE (NYSE: GE) at POWER-GEN Middle East. HE Al Mazrouei was received by GE representatives who provided an overview of the company’s participation at the exhibition and the newest technologies being introduced.
One of the highlights of GE’s participation at the event is the regional launch of the world’s largest and most efficient gas turbines – the 9HA and 7HA for 50 and 60 hertz applications. GE’s latest air-cooled H-class technology operates at more than 61 percentcombined cycle efficiency and leads the industry with cleaner, reliable and cost-effective conversion of natural gas to electricity.
Also in the spotlight is GE’s new 9EMax solution, a significant leap forward in 9E gas turbine performance that redefines how customers in the Middle East can quickly deliver more power, at lower costs.
GE’s senior business leaders will also share their expertise on various topics related to power sector efficiency at the POWER-GEN Middle East 2014 Conference.
