The UAE’s mGov revealed today the latest developments and projects completed that come within the process of accomplishing the Smart transformation at all federal bodies and authorities in the UAE.  The announcement came in a media briefing session hosted by HE Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori, Director General of the UAE’s mGov in the Intercontinental Hotel in Dubai in the presence of several representatives of the local media.

The media brief session revealed facts and figures that reflected percentage of accomplishment which reached up to 68%, which confirms the completion of the overall transformation within the scheduled timeframe by next May. The meeting also reviewed related details to the Federal Network one of the UAE’s mGov main projects, whereas it is considered the principal infrastructure by which the single access for all smart services is achieved to benefit customers and stakeholders.

HE Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori, Director General of the mGov said: “We consider this meeting with the media as a necessary gathering in order to inform the UAE’s society about the latest developments regarding the size of work achieved by all concerned parties at the governmental level. And we feel a great deal of satisfaction about how the level of coordination between the various parties, and confirm that what has been achieved so far, is a result of the efforts spent by all concerned parties on the way leading to the accomplishment of the smart transformation process at the level of the UAE Government on its scheduled time next May."

And added: “The mechanism we are following to overtake the challenges we face, forms the important foundation that guarantees the progress of this project in accordance with the timeframes set by the leadership in the country. And I would like here to pay tribute to the role played by UAE’s competent young talents in leading the efforts aiming at accomplishing a comprehensive transformation towards the UAE’s mGov, and can claim that all projects and initiatives are completely under a national management. "

The briefing session witnessed huge media representatives’ attendance, and a high degree of interaction, through questions and its focus on very accurate details, in order to deliver the full image about all aspects related to this pioneering national project.
