An engaging fun-filled ‘Around the World in 40 Days’ campaign has concluded at Bawadi Mall in Al Ain. Thousands of visitors flocked to the mall during August and September to watch performance of six folk dance groups at The Main Atrium.
“Being a preferred destination for families in Al Ain, Bawadi Mall is committed to creating innovative entertainment options,” says Bassam Saleh, Marketing Manager, Bawadi Mall. “We organise diverse campaigns throughout the year, which help raise our entertainment levels above the expectations of our visitors.”
Dance troupes from Macedonia, Georgia and Indonesia, Mongolia, Turkey and Ukraine has put up 7-day performances which drew to a close recently.
“Weekend peak hours attracted hordes of visitors, and our effort was to make each program different,” Saleh said.
“For Bawadi Mall the goal was simple; reconnect with its audience and at the same time, drive footfall to the mall and support tenants in the busy summer period. We targeted all members of the family by offering a unique experience to everyone.”
“Some of the most iconic performances were the Georgian dances that consisted of solo, pair and group shows. Each dancer followed a common plan and its expression in the dance, while the Mongolia group performed ‘Bielgee’ dance on national Mongolian musical instruments, such as horsehead fiddle and xylophone,” Saleh said.
“Families at Bawadi Mall also appreciated other shows like the Anatolian dance group from Turkey with magnificent ‘marbling trough’ shows. They were blending and getting into various shapes and the visitors saw at close range manifestations of all those great civilizations,” Saleh said.
Due to the fabulous weather prevailing in Al Ain city these days, shoppers can enhance their mall visit experience by dining at the outdoor F&B restaurants, ranging from the fast food chains to popular cafes.
Featuring a well-rounded selection of entertainment activities and promotions Bawadi Mall has been offering an array of treats for families looking to create lasting memories this summer season. Unbeatable bargains, exciting entertainment and a vibrant ambience made the mall a preferred destination this summer.
“Multiple initiatives have been lined up this year at Bawadi Mall, but if there’s one thing tying them together, it’s interactivity. Our meticulously executed campaigns target the core audience that includes shoppers mainly from UAE and Oman and neighboring countries.”
Saleh said: “We have been honored with the visits of official representatives from the countries participating at the show and we promise more exciting activities in the days to come.”
