Mezyed Vehicle Inspection Center In Al Ain Provides Licensing Services For The Public

According to Colonel Mohammed Mayouf Al Ketbi, Head of the Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Department at Abu Dhabi Police, the Mezyed Vehicle Inspection Center in Al Ain is already operational and has started providing its services to the public. These services include vehicle inspection, registration of new vehicles, renewal of vehicle licenses, issuance of round trip certificates for vehicles, and vehicle ownerships’ transfer and cancellation. Colonel Al Ketbi also noted that the new center was recently inaugurated in cooperation between Abu Dhabi Police and ADNOC Distribution.

Colonel Al Ketbi stressed the commitment of the UAE Government to nurture high quality of life for the UAE society through efficient communication, transparency and justice in the provision of services. “Providing distinguished police services to citizens, residents and visitors is one of the greatest challenges to providing convenient and better services to the community,” he added.

For his part, Lieutenant Colonel Ali Salem Al Dir’e, Chief of Vehicle Licensing Section in Al Ain indicated that the new center will cater to the requirements of customers in the areas of Mezyed, Umm Ghafa, Al Daher, and Al Sarooj. “The center will help to reduce customers’ time and effort, in line with the Abu Dhabi Police’s vision that aims to improve the quality of service, and to ensure the speedy and accurate processing of transactions, so as to meet the increasing demand for such a service,” added Lieutenant Colonel Al Dir’e.

In conclusion, Lieutenant Colonel Al Dir’e emphasized that the Abu Dhabi Police methodology aims to streamline the delivery of services to customers, process their transactions and complete them accurately and promptly, in accordance with the best and most accurate international standards. He also pointed out that the Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Department at Abu Dhabi Police has made great strides in expanding its array of integrated services offered to vehicle owners, regardless of where they live.
