Today, Emirates Motor Company (EMC), Mercedes-Benz authorized distributors in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the flagship company of Al Fahim Group, celebrates the first year anniversary of the Express Service Center at EMC’s Airport Road facility and an increase in the number of vehicles serviced by 150% in the last six months compared to the first six months since the launch of the service center in August 2013.
Mr. Kamal Rafih, General Manager of EMC, claimed “Our Express Service customers are very happy and they are increasing day by day because the facility is very convenient for them in addition to the fact they are able to receive their vehicles after a short wait. Looking at a monthly figure, we now cater to, on average, 400 customers.”
At the EMC Express Service Center in the Airport Road Facility, EMC takes on regular service and small repair jobs that take less than two hours. These jobs may include: refurbishing wheel rims, small scratches, oil filter change and quick lube, air-condition cleaning, minor and major servicing, brake pads, tires and wheel alignment, wheel balancing, small electrical jobs.
There are a total of 75 shaded parking for customers, accessories boutique of Mercedes-Benz products, and a spare parts store.
While the customer waits, s/he may check out the boutique area, enjoy attractive Mercedes-Benz infomercials, free Wi-Fi, coffee and tea, or even visit EMC’s new and used car showroom next door.
Mr. Iddrisu Yussif, Service Supervisor of EMC Express Service Center added, “We particularly see many women dropping their vehicles off for express servicing and if they don’t prefer to wait, we are pleased to drop them off in Mercedes-Benz saloons to their desired destination.”
The EMC Express Service Center operates from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, six days a week – Saturdays to Thursdays. Booking can easily be done through the EMC iPhone/iPad application or by calling 800 EMC (362).
