Based on the principle of strengthening its role within the community, building relations with various community groups and consolidating the values of brotherhood and sympathy, a group from the Abu Dhabi Retirement Pensions & Benefits Fund (ADRPBF) visited elderly patients and children in Khalifa Hospital and Al Mafraq Hospital in Abu Dhabi on the occasion of Ramadan and in the spirit of celebrating the approaching Eid Al-Fitr.
On this visit, H.E. Khalaf Abdullah Rahmah Hammadi, Director General of ADRPBF, said, "Ramadan is the month of goodness and blessing, and we at ADRPBF seek to maintain the bonds of brotherhood and love with retirees, beneficiaries and various community groups. On the occasion of the approaching Eid Al-Fitr, we want to express our intentions to older patients and children by offering symbolic gifts, which reflect the culture of mutual brotherhood in the UAE society.”
The two-day visit involved a group of employees reassuring patients with regard to their health and wishing them a speedy recovery. The team distributed flowers and gifts to patients, and clicked souvenir pictures with them. All of this contributed to creating an atmosphere of joy and happiness, for which the beneficiaries expressed their appreciation and thanks.
