Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior reviewed the international certificate in institutional excellence awarded by the international organization “Investors in Excellence” (IIE) to the Directorate General of Human Resources at the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ. It is noteworthy that the Directorate is the first police institution to obtain this international recognition in the Middle East.
Ray Radnock, representative of the UK-based international organization Investors in Excellence, handed the Certificate yesterday (Sunday) to His Highness Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed at the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters. The organization adopts special specifications for the application and adoption of institutional excellence standards.
His Highness praised the efforts made by the Human Resources Directorate General’s team at Abu Dhabi Police that lead to this international achievement, and urged the team to exert further efforts and dedication to achieve institutional excellence.
The Abu Dhabi Police managed to obtain this international certificate after a week-long assessment of different functional levels in the Human Resources Directorate General. Moreover, it succeeded in obtaining a grade that is considered among the top ten assessments in the history of the organization.
The ceremony was attended by Major General Mohammed bin Al Awadhi Al Menhali, Director General of Human Resources; Brigadier General Jassem Al Marzouqui, Deputy Director General of Human Resources; Colonel Saud Al Saadi, Director of the Secretariat of the Office of HH the Minister; Major Rashid Abdullah Al Dosari, Head of the Secretariat of the Institutional Excellence Department, “Investors in Excellence” Certificate’s team leader; as well as a number of officers, and the qualification team seeking to obtain the “Committed to Excellence” recognition.
It is worth mentioning that the “Investors in Excellence” certificate represents a universal recognition of the efficiency and eligibility of the qualified entity that obtained it. It also contributes to increasing the level of human performance and excellence and enhances the exerted efforts to improve police work in various areas; so as to achieve further excellence and progress at the professional level and in institutional excellence.
