G4S, the world’s leading global integrated security company, renewed its “Ramadan bi Aman” (For a Safe Ramadan) initiative this year with the Red Crescent Society of the UAE, through 400 G4S UAE staff and senior management contributing in excess of 500 man-hours to serve over 4,000 persons in four iftar tents in Al Warqaa, Al Rashidiya, Al Aweer and Al Tawar.
David Stockton, CEO of G4S in the UAE commented: “We are thankful for the role that the Red Crescent Society plays in supporting the families that need them across the country, and are proud to offer our support under their guidance and supervision. This year, we have doubled the amount of tents of which our teams are volunteering in, which will consequently lead to more than double the number of beneficiaries, through the contribution of over 300 additional volunteers than last year. In addition, our teams are collecting clothes with the intention of donating them to those less fortunate during this holy month. We are aiming to collect hundreds of items, from clothing to shoes, from our employees which is another fantastic way of giving back and sharing. ”
The initiative, taking place for the second consecutive year, is part of a region-wide campaign that takes place throughout G4S in the Middle East, by implementing wide ranging charity initiatives and contributions throughout the region that are tailored to the local needs of each market. Ramadan bi Aman complements the company’s corporate social responsibility programme that engaged staff, partners and clients alike in a spirit that embodies the values and culture of the communities that G4S serves.
G4S is the largest provider of security solutions in the UAE, serving government, private, and corporate institutions with expertise and proven performance gained from over 20 years in the market and operating under internationally accredited standards.
