The Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs in collaboration with the UAE's National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA) organized a training workshop for the ministry staff on ‘Integrated management of emergencies, crises and disasters’.

“Reflecting the directives of the UAE’s wise leadership, the ministry is seeking to enhance the skills of its employees in areas such as management of emergencies, crises and disasters through training programs,” said H.E. Tariq HilalLootah, Undersecretary of the Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs.

“Such programs will equip our employees with the capability to handle all circumstances as well as help them to expand their interests, knowledge and experiences which will eventually be reflected in their performance at work,”added H.E. Tariq Lootah.

The training session focused on the role of the NCEMA in responding to emergency and crisis situations. It also looked at the UAE’s system of managing emergencies and crises, assessment of crisis situations and planning measures to tackle eventualities.
