Abu Dhabi National Oil Company for Distribution (ADNOC Distribution) has received the ‘UAE Superbrand’ status for 2014, recognizing its excellence in the distribution and marketing of petroleum products and services within the UAE and overseas.
ADNOC Distribution was awarded the distinction by the Superbrands Council, the largest global independent authority and arbiter of branding excellence.
Khalid Hadi, Vice President, Marketing and Corporate Communication, ADNOC Distribution, received the award during a ceremony held at the InterContinental Hotel Dubai - Festival City.
Commenting on the occasion, Khalid Hadi said: “We are glad to receive this honor from the Superbrands Council. The status endorses the brand’s strong presence and customers’ trust in our service delivery. We credit this achievement to the continued support and direction of our CEO His Excellency Abdulla Salem Al Dhaheri, as well as the collaborative efforts of our entire team at ADNOC Distribution.
“Such recognitions strengthen our resolve to develop and deliver services that meet evolving customer needs, while ensuring employee well-being, responsibility towards the community, preservation of the environment and conforming to the highest standards of health and safety.”
ADNOC Distribution operates a vast network of service stations and convenience stores. The stations are fitted out with the most advanced technology for fuel, automated car wash and vacuuming, lube bay and tire repair. In addition, aviation refueling services, ships bunkering along with the production of a range of ADNOC lubricants are marketed locally, and exported across the GCC markets, Middle East, the Far East, Africa and Europe.
As part of efforts to support sustainable development and ensure a cleaner and safer environment, ADNOC Distribution has also adopted an ambitious plan to retail natural gas as an alternative fuel for vehicles across its service stations in the UAE.
