The UAE's capital has been chosen by a leading French television channel as the location for a new series of programmes on health and fitness.
The channel, 'Ma Chaine Sport', selected Abu Dhabi as the location for the series following an invitation from the National Media Council.
During filming over a three-day period, the channel's production team succeeded in completing 13 episodes of the series, each of 26 minutes in length. They were largely filmed at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, making use both of the hotel's gardens and its beach, under the guidance of Christophe Ruelle, a top level sports coach. Supporting footage was shot throughout the city.
The series will be broadcast later this summer on both cable and satellite channels.
