Students of Zayed Higher Organization for Humanitarian Care gave a beautiful performance inspired by the Emirati heritage during the closing ceremony of the charity forum “Sougha”, designed to raise awareness about the issues of people with special needs. The forum was organized by ZHO in cooperation with Community Police Department at Abu Dhabi Police and Mafraq Hotel, with the participation of UAE Red Crescent, at the hotel’s main hall.
The students gave an impressive artistic, social and humanitarian performance that was widely acclaimed and applauded by the audience, who interacted positively with people with special needs.
Captain Ali Al Sa’ari, Acting Chief of Community Police Affairs Section in the Peripheral Regions, expressed his thanks and appreciation to all partners that contributed to the success of the forum, as a way to show support and encouragement to people with special needs and to help them integrate into society.
The exhibition, which was held on the sidelines of the forum, displayed a large collection of traditional and artistic products made, assembled and sold by the students, who highly praised the significant turnout of attendees to purchase their products in support for them.
The closing ceremony was attended by a number of officers and 23 Abu Dhabi Police volunteers.
