Standard Chartered is organising its first ever UAE National Job Fair in cooperation with the Emirates Institute of Banking and Financial Studies (EIBFS), the National HR development & Employment Authority ''Tanmia'' and Abu Dhabi Tawteen Council on 11th and 12th of June 2014 at the EIBFS headquarters in Dubai Academic City. The two day event is aimed at identifying and recruiting high calibre talented young UAE Nationals willing to venture into the world of banking and finance.

Senior representatives from Standard Chartered will be conducting walk-in interviews with candidates and will be onsite throughout the event to discuss the various roles and responsibilities for current and potential positions across the Bank.

Commenting on the Bank's organisation of the event, Mohamed Omar Al Qudra, Head of Emiratisation Initiatives, Standard Chartered UAE said, 'We are honored to be cooperating with the EIBFS, Tanmia and Tawteen to organise this initiative. As one of the oldest banks in the UAE this event testament to our continuous commitment towards this country and our efforts to build a pipeline of UAE National industry leaders. In addition to participating at all the

National career fairs and career days in Universities, we have decided to organise a dedicated event aimed at identifying and meeting aspiring Emirati candidates. This comes in line with our aspiration to be the employer of choice around the world in general and in the UAE in particular.
