Winners of The Sheikha Manal Young Artist Award 2013 have the unique opportunity to feature their artworks as part in the Digital Style Lab pop-up shop at Harvey Nichols Dubai that will allow guests will to customize their own shirt with over 300 patterns and images to choose from – which also include the works of five Winners of The Sheikha Manal Young Artist Award 2013. They are Sarah Alagroobi, Bahar Al Bahar, Nada Abu Shakra, Nasser Alzayani and Mohammad Shabanpoor.
This collaboration between The Sheikha Manal Young Artist Award and Harvey Nichols Dubai reflects the commitment of both organisations to support the continued growth of the artistic and cultural scene in the UAE, by creating new outlets for young emerging talents to showcase their work to the public.
On the occasion, Mona Bin Kalli, Director of The Cultural Office commented on the importance of the Award commented, "We are pleased to contribute to this exciting initiative by Harvey Nichols Dubai - which will not only enhance the standing of our winning artists from The Sheikha Manal Young Artist Award - but also allows the general public to exercise their creative side by conceptualising their personal style through their very own bespoke clothing."

The Digital Style Lab pop-up shop will run through the month of June at Harvey Nichols Dubai. After which the store will undertake a new collaborative project which will feature the works of four Winners of The Sheikha Manal Young Artists Award to create inspirational Window Displays for Harvery Nichols during the Holy Month of Ramadan. They participants include are: Bahar Al Bahar, Tayma Bittard, Nada Abu Shakra and Sarah Alagroobi.
This news follows on the heels of the recently announced official Call for Entries for the ninth editions of The Sheikha Manal Young Artists Award. Held under the royal patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Manal bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Women Establishment, wife of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Presidential Affairs, UAE; The Sheikha Manal Young Artist Award is an annual fine arts competition which aims to encourage, recognize and promote emerging artists from the UAE. The award is popular amongst university students majoring in Art, Design and Multimedia.
