The regional media communications network says that Raffoul Mattar, formerly Managing Director, Initiative Abu Dhabi, is taking up the role with immediate effect, dividing his time and responsibilities between the organisation’s offices in the UAE capital and Dubai.
“I am extremely pleased to be taking up the position of UAE managing director for Initiative MENA after three great years working at the organisation’s Abu Dhabi office,” said Mattar. “In addition to relishing the challenge of a new role that encompasses Dubai’s sphere of operations, I am also very happy that the appointment will see me continuing to work with the team in the capital, as I have enjoyed a close relationship with my colleagues there ever since I started with the company,” he added.
“Since joining Initiative in 2011, Raffoul has been instrumental to the growth of the agency. His dedication to the job and his leadership skills have earned him the respect of both his colleagues and clients,” said Ramzy Abouchacra, Regional Managing Director, Initiative GCC. “Raffoul’s deep understanding of the communication scene, his rigor and passion will definitely have an impact on our UAE operations,”he added.
Raffoul commenced his career with Initiative at the Beirut office and later held prominent positions with top communication agencies in the region.
