In its third meeting for 2014, the Media and Public Relations Coordination Committee at the Ministry of Interior discussed a number of topics pertaining to police participations in different community-based events, as well as the libraries' policy.
The meeting was chaired by Colonel Hussein Mahmoud Al Awadi, Acting Head of Public Relations Department and chairman of the committee, at the ADCB Zayed Sports City and attended by all members from the various police general headquarters across the country.
A number of topics listed on the agenda were tackled during the meeting, in addition to the previous meeting’s recommendations.
Attendees recommended scheduling a meeting to develop a methodology to manage relations with society, implement the smart applications project on smart phones and unifying the special procedures related to websites to align with the requirements of the UAE's e-government.
Chairman and members of the Media and Public Relations Coordination Committee made an introductory inspection tour to review the touristic projects at ADCB Zayed Sports City, as part of the efforts to enhance and reinforce partnership with local institutions and departments, with a view to make good use of such partnerships in future police events.
