Jumeirah Group, the Dubai-based luxury hotel company and a member of Dubai Holding has announced the appointment of Maha Ali Maisari as Vice President, Corporate Strategy.
A UAE National born in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, Maha previously worked with Jumeirah’s parent company, Dubai Holding, as Director of Strategy Development and Deployment. As one of the founding team members who established the Strategy Department, Maha was responsible for managing the hospitality portfolio and developing its long term strategy.
In her new role, Maha will be responsible for deploying and overseeing Jumeirah Group’s long-term strategy implementation and will work to continuously refresh Jumeirah’s corporate strategy.
Maha’s previous roles included senior positions in the healthcare industry and she was part of the founding team at a University Hospital that led the development and implementation of the hospital’s infrastructure strategies.
With a Master of Science in International Health Management and Microbiology & Immunology, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Maha also has over ten years’ experience working for a strategic investment company, biomedical sciences research and in healthcare management. During the last six years Maha’s primary focus has been in corporate strategy development and change management.
