The Ministry of Interior discussed performance development mechanisms at the Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs sector, through implementation of a number of developmental projects. Upgrading the standards of work, providing distinguished services to the public, as well as a number of topics related to violators of the law of entry and residence of foreigners, sea checkpoints and various services provided at these ports, and humanitarian assistance response mechanisms were discussed during the meeting; appropriate decisions were taken accordingly.
The Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs Higher Committee had recently held its third meeting at the office of the Assistant Undersecretary of Naturalization, Residency and Port Affairs of Abu Dhabi. The meeting was chaired by Major General KhalifaHareb Al Khaili, Acting Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of the Interior for Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs, and attended by Major General Mohammad Ahmad Al Marri, Director General of the Dubai Naturalization and Residency and Ports Affairs Department (DNRD), along with Directors-General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs, members of the committee.
Attendees reviewed presentations related to services warehouse system, key indicators for measurement of service performance and delivery time, as well as the EFQM “Committed to Excellence” Certificate obtained by the sector. The meeting also reviewed a number of topics, namely; the ministry’s strategic plan; the management processes development project; the skills management project; the customer satisfaction and human resources outcomes for the year 2013; the proposals and complaints outcomes; in addition to the overall results achieved during 2013.
