Gloria Hotels & Resorts has announced its intent to expand operations in the UAE, marking the opening ofGloria Downtown Hotel, their first branch in Abu Dhabi in the last quarter of 2014. The hotel is located in the heart of the capital city and is within walking distance from the corniche. The new hotel will be in line with the concept of Gloria Hotels & Resorts, being a luxury family hotel providing excellent services in a warm friendly atmosphere.

Mr. Freddy Farid, Area General Manager of Gloria Hotels & Resorts, “The Gloria Downtown Hotel will comprise of 156 well-appointed guestrooms and suites. The rooms will feature a stylish design of warm tones and comfortable furnishings. Apart from the new opening in Abu Dhabi, we also achieved great success in retaining and continuously improving the quality of the services provided. We are constantly looking at establishing long term relations with guests and new partners”.

Additionally, we  also have plans for new properties across Cairo, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia over the next two years”, he added.

Dubai as a destination is more popular amongst tourists from UK and Ireland, and with the addition of the remaining 13 countries from the EU to the UAE visa exemption list, Gloria Hotels and Resorts expect to see an increase in the number of visitors in the business and leisure sector from these countries by the end of the year.
