Under the patronage of Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, the General Directorate of Strategy and Performance Development in the General Secretariat of the Office of H.H Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior organized the Leadership Course in the 21st Century. This course, which was organized in cooperation with the US Harvard University, took place over 3 days in Abu Dhabi's Saint Regis Resort.

Directors of strategic directorates in the Ministry of Interior and Abu Dhabi Police Headquarters, and representatives of strategy in local departments at Abu Dhabi Police Government participated in this course.

This course falls under the strategic approach of Abu Dhabi Police Headquarters to enhance partnerships with strategic partners in local departments in Abu Dhabi Government and increase leadership skills.

The closing celebration of the course was attended by Colonel Mohammed Hamid bin Dalmouj Al Dhaheri, Strategy and Performance Development Director General in the General Secretariat of the Office of H.H Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.

Participants in the course received their certificates from Colonel Al Dhaheri, accompanied by Professor Marty Linsky from Harvard University and Major Dr. Ali Abdullah bin Dha’ain Al Ghafali, Head of the Corporate Excellence Department in the General Directorate of Strategy and Performance Development.

“The Abu Dhabi Police Headquarters is keen to support the corporate development process to create a generation of distinguished leaders who could achieve a promising future and provide best services for the people,” stressed Major Dr. Ali Abdullah ben Dain Al Ghafali in his speech at the course opening.

“This course aims at enhancing cooperation between the Ministry of Interior and its strategic partners, transferring knowledge, creating opportunities for communication, and exchanging expertise with local departments at Abu Dhabi Government,” he added.

The course events were launched after that, where important topics such as the creation and establishment of values, and the management of individual and institutional dynamics for change were discussed. The course also shed light on means to build capacities and other related issues.
