Nestled away in the heart of Abu Dhabi’s business and fashion district on Al Maryah Island, Rosewood Abu Dhabi, the capital’s ultra-luxury hotel, will celebrate its first anniversary throughout May. To mark the occasion, the hotel announced the launch of the “We Are One!” campaign, which will include an array of exclusive offers throughout the month of May.

Rosewood Abu Dhabi opened its doors in May 2013 and has since welcomed thousands of guests to its beautiful property set in the heart of Sowwah Square, Abu Dhabi’s thriving urban hub. Celebrating the occasion, Rosewood Abu Dhabi is offering weekend room bookings during the month of May at a special room rate of AED501. Valid from May 1-31 at 9 a.m. ­ 10 a.m. daily, the hotel’s Sense Spa will also be upgrading all treatments over 30 minutes by an additional 30 minutes, leaving a longer lasting blissful feeling.
Sambusek

On Wednesday 7th May Sambusek, the glamorous Lebanese cuisine, will offer a 2 for 1 deal on the a la carte menu as well as shisha. The restaurant which serves a delicious selection of Hot and Cold Mezzeh such as Hummus Akary, Tabouleh Salad and the Oriental Cheese Sambusek. Guests can get their teeth into a mouth-watering grilled minced Kofta Al Rayiss mixed with Akkawi Cheese and sliced pistachios before finishing off with one of Sambusek’s famous desserts, Esh Al Saray. After dinner, enjoy a fruity flavoured shisha, flavours include grape, apple, mint and lemon.

Spice Mela
From Thursday 15th until Thursday 22nd May, Spice Mela, Rosewood Abu Dhabi’s modern Pan-Indian restaurant will offer a specially crafted ‘Kings and Queens’ tasting menu. Inspired by meals prepared at the royal courts of Awadh, Kashmir, Hyderabad and Bhopal, the menu will include, among others, ki machhi, scrumptious sea bass baked alongside almonds, fresh green herbs and saffron, Murg Aloo Korma, mouth-watering chicken cooked with potato and yoghurt and the delectable dessert Ande Ke Lauz, made of egg and milk, enriched with lemon and mint.

Catalan
Catalan, Abu Dhabi’s first Catalonian restaurant will continue the celebrations from Thursday 22nd May until Thursday 29th May offering a special Anniversary menu which includes Smoked trout served with foie gras terrine and caramelized green apple and Shucked oyster,  served on a bed of arugula, water cress  and coconut drizzled with a raifort dressing. Finish the meal off with a cool Yogurt ice cream served with ruby red strawberry pearls and cocoa crystal or a Caramelised “torrija” served with café latte ice cream and date compote. Guests can enjoy a delicious meal for two for AED501, for an additional AED295 enjoy the grape pairing menu by the restaurants Sommelier.

Hidden Bar
Hidden Bar has quickly become a place where Abu Dhabi’s movers and shakers unwind after a hard day’s work. The chic spot which offers high tea along with a selection of fine grape pairings, rare spirits and light bites will celebrate the hotel’s anniversary with “Stir it Up”, a promotion which offers guests 30% discount on all beverages on Wednesday and Thursdays from 6-8pm. Guests will also be able to enjoy a special anniversary beverage.

Friday Brunch at Aqua
In addition, the hotel will feature exclusive deals on the popular Brunch served at Aqua. Children under 12 will enjoy the complimentary Rose Buds brunch whilst adults pay AED 501 for two guests with soft drinks and house grapes included.
