du recently hosted the Dubai Chapter of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE)’s new #xtalk concept – the first of a series of interactive discussions between entrepreneurs. The #xtalk, held at du’s headquarters in Al Salam Tower, Dubai Media City, aimed at triggering thought-provoking interactions between TiE Dubai members, entrepreneurs and experts.
du is a Gold Sponsor of TiE, a non-profit global community of successful Indian executives. Representing du at the event were several members of the company’s senior management, including Mahesh Jaishankar, Vice President – datamena and Broadcast, du, and Vikram Chadha, Vice President – SME Marketing, du.
The inaugural #xtalk drew the attention of several prominent UAE entrepreneurs, including a prestigious panel of experts who discussed two key areas of interest: Structuring Your Company, and Building Your Team. The experts included: Abhimanyu Jalan, Partner, Clyde & Co; Ali Asghar, founder and CEO, Emerging Circle; Danny Farha, co-founder and CEO BECO Capital; Danish Farhan, founder and CEO, Xisché & Co; Dinesh Lalwani, founder and CEO, Growl Media; Ihsan Jawad, co-founder, HoneyBee Tech Ventures, and Loulou Khazen Baz, founder and CEO, Nabbesh.
PK Gulati, CEO, Optimistix Ventures and technology innovator, angel investor, mentor, idea accelerator and writer, moderated the event.
