Al Qudra Holding (AQH), a leading investment company in the UAE, has officially announced that it will provide a full scholarship for a major 3-year art program at Paris Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi (PSUAD). The scholarship will be provided to a female Emirati student who will be chosen based on evaluations by the university’s committee.

AQH sees arts and arts education as critical factors in promoting the understanding of Arab culture, its diversity and its uniqueness. AQH’s initiative with PSUAD will ensure local participation in Arab heritage as well as promote cross-cultural dialogue. Furthermore, AQH is proud to have a female student as the recipient of the PSUAD scholarship as it also supports the country’s vision to educate women.

The 3 year art program at PSUAD, titled Archaeology and History of Art, is one of the biggest art programs in the nation. This initiative was announced during artparis, where AQH is the main sponsor of the Cultural Exhibition.

The Cultural Exhibition at artparis, titled “Movement and communication: travels through desert and sea”, displays works in various media from some of the greatest artists in the Arab world.
