In line with its environmental efforts, Al-Futtaim Motors, exclusive distributor of Toyota and Lexus in the UAE announced its participation in the 16th Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition (WETEX) being held from April 14 to 16, 2014, at Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre.
Being the largest supplier of hybrid cars in the UAE, Al-Futtaim Motors will be displaying the new hybrid Toyota Camry, as well as Toyota Prius, the world’s first commercial hybrid vehicle.
The 2014 Lexus hybrid models being displayed at the show include the LSh, GSh, RXh and CT, all featuring Lexus Hybrid Drive, a technology developed solely by Lexus for use in its range of luxury vehicles.

Toyota Motor Corporation is the world’s leader in hybrid technology and has sold globally more than 6 million Toyota and Lexus hybrid vehicles to date which makes it the undeniable spearhead in environmental mobility” said Jon Williams, Managing Director of Al-Futtaim Motors.
Williams added: “Due to consistent efforts for raising the awareness about a more sustainable future by the UAE government, we have witnessed a recent appetite for hybrid vehicles. Beside the Lexus LSh, GSh, RXh and CT hybrid, last year we introduced hybrid Camry, the first hybrid model within the Toyota range in the UAE,. This vehicle has seen a great response and has successfully been integrated into some government and private fleets.”
Toyota Motor Corporation marks 17 years of hybrid technology leadership and has a portfolio that currently offers 23 Lexus and Toyota hybrid nameplates worldwide.
