Sharjah Airport Travel Agency (SATA), a well established IATA accredited travel agency, yesterday opened of its Abu Dhabi branch as part of its expansion plans in the region.

The opening ceremony was inaugurated by H.E Mr Ali Salim Abdelrahman Al Midfa, Chairman, Sharjah Airport Authority and also attended by H.E. Sheikh Khalid Isam Saqer Al Qassimi, Chairman, Department of Civil Aviation, Mr. Arshad Munir, General Manager of SATA, other government officials, airline and trade partners.

The new office located in Electra Street opposite the ADCB Head Office will serve the travel needs of its increasing customers and will offer a complete range of travel services such as worldwide airline reservation and ticketing, hotel reservation, holiday packages, cruise packages, rent a cars, conferences, air charters, MICE and more.

Mr. Arshad Munir, General Manager of SATA said: “It is with great pleasure to announce the opening of our first branch in Abu Dhabi. This is a milestone achievement for SATA because we are now seeing the realization of our goal which is to spread our wings and open several branches all over the UAE. We have presence in Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Dubai and Abu Dhabi and soon we will be opening our branch in Fujairah.”
