An Emirati designed environmentally friendly villa concept will be at the forefront of sustainable projects on show at Cityscape Abu Dhabi this month, as investors and end-users alike turn towards more eco-friendly options in the property market.
Quantity surveying and architecture firm, 3Dimension, will be launching its energy efficient ‘Green Pre-designed Villa Concept’ at the three day real estate event, which takes place from 22-24 April at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC).
Taking approximately eight months to build, the pre-designed turnkey villas come in three and five bedroom configurations, with a price range of between AED2 million for the 4,757 sq.ft. three bedroom option, and AED3.3 million for the 8,446 sq.ft. five bedroom option.
Malak Ali Hassan, Owner and CEO of 3Dimension, and the Emirati designer of the green villas, said that the project incorporates the latest Energy Star efficiency specifications and eco-conscious materials with practical usage of natural light and ventilation.
“As both an engineer and an Emirati woman, I am proud to be the first to present the ‘Green Pre-designed Villa Concept’ to investors and developers at Cityscape Abu Dhabi,” said Hassan. “It has been our continuous dream at 3Dimension to be part of the wheel of sustainable development in the UAE and the wider region.
“We planned the pre-designed green villas based on our objective to promote smarter water usage and to reduce energy consumption, while ensuring that only sustainable building materials are used with minimal impact on the environment. Our green villas are ergonomically feasible, environment-friendly, and socio-economically viable.”
Continuing the environmentally friendly theme at Cityscape Abu Dhabi, Masdar City, one of the world’s most sustainable urban developments will highlight its investment zone opportunities at the three day event, which is expected to attract major interest from investors in the residential, commercial and hospitality sectors.
Having recently completed its award winning LEED Platinum certified Siemens Middle East HQ building in December 2013, the world class eco-city will underline its future plans in the UAE capital and wider Middle East region.
Anthony Mallows, Director of Masdar City, said: “Masdar City is a pioneering ‘greenprint’ for how cities of the future will accommodate rapid urbanisation, while dramatically reducing energy, water and waste.
“Today, the city is home to the world’s largest cluster of high performance buildings, including the recently completed LEED Platinum Siemens Middle East headquarters, and the Incubator building – home to more than 60 companies – with further milestones such as the Masdar and IRENA HQ and Hilton DoubleTree Hotel on the horizon.
“As we enter an important phase of the city’s growth and development, Cityscape Abu Dhabi allows us to demonstrate that the vision is now a sustainable operation – with attractive partnership and investment zone opportunities for developers and investors.”
