THE BEACH, Dubai’s must-visit shoreline destination located along the Dubai Marina, hosted a stunning display of live mural paintings. The Street Art Project was initiated by the Dubai Culture & Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), the emirate’s dedicated authority for culture, arts, and heritage.

The Piazza that forms the central community space at THE BEACH was transformed into a veritable gallery of outdoor art installations. Visitors were enthralled by the contemporary artwork done by artists German Fernandez, Marwan 'Myne' Shakarchi and Mark Ganzon. The installations will be on display in The Piazza until 12 April.

Adding to the carnival ambience were street performances by Lucas Nascimento Brown Leao, Anushka Elizuba Kallukaran Abraham and Josh Monteath.

Aimed at promoting the emirate’s thriving cultural landscape at an international level, Dubai Art Season 2014 will run until April 15. As a strategic venue partner for the current edition of Dubai Art Season, ‘The Beach’, a part of Meraas Holding, will offer visitors access to unique art and cultural activities throughout the event.
