Brigadier Hamad Ajlan Al Amimi, Director of the Al Ain Police Directorate, met Mohammed Saeed Faraj, Director of Anti-counterfeiting and Institutions Training in the UAE, and Gary Theobalds, Regional Safety & Security Manager at American Express Middle East & North Africa,at his office on Thursday.
The visit came in appreciation of the continuous efforts made by Al Ain Police to arrest the two suspects who bought jewelry with fake credit cards from various shops in Al Ain and Dubai, which were worth AED 150,000.They did this with help from their partners in an Arab country, where they had forged personal identity cards and credit cards. When they were arrested, it was revealed that theyhad nine forged identity cards and nine credit cards.
Brigadier Al Amimiexpressed his appreciation of the police members’ effortsand their sense of responsibility that has helped maintain the security and stability of Al Ain City and has helped protect the public’s property and preserve their rights. At the end of the visit, American Express gave the Director of the Al Ain Police Directorate a certificate of recognition and appreciation, in the presence of Colonel Hamad Suhail Al Rashidi, Deputy Director of Al Ain Police Directorate, and a number of officers from the directorate.
