Abu Dhabi Police, represented by the Air Wing Department, is participating in the Abu Dhabi Air Expo that is taking place at Al Bateen Executive Airport.
Major General Staff Dr. Obeid Al Kutbi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police, toured the exhibition pavilions on Tuesday, where he stopped by the Abu Dhabi Police Pavilion and listened to a detailed explanation about the Search and Rescue aircraft that is displayed there.
Al Kutbi praised the organization and display of the exhibition, saying that it meets the future needs of the private aviation sector.
Brigadier Pilot Ali Muhammed Al Mazroui, Head of the Air Wing Department, explained that the Air Wing Department participates annually in this important exhibition, and has the most advanced search and rescue aircraft.
Al Mazroui said that the search and rescue aircraft displayed at the Expo is one of the best, as it is equipped with rescue tools, including night vision devices, flares for night-time photography, and the radar that is used for the search and rescue missions.
It is worth mentioning that 175 companies will be displaying their innovations at this exhibition, and will host people from about 70 countries. There will also be more than 100 aircrafts on display at this event, which is expected to draw more than 17,000 visitors.
