Etisalat, the UAE’s leading telecoms provider, is giving customers the chance to be among the first in the UAE to own the new LG G Flex (4G LTE) smartphone.

The telecom major is exclusively offering customers LG Electronics (LG) first curved and flexible display smartphone along with up to 10GB of data and 300 flexi minutes.

Featuring a 6-inch curved screen, flexible body, the LG G Flex has a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera, 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera and up to 32GB of on-board storage. The 177g device runs on the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system, has 2GB RAM and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 2.3GHz quad-core processor. For a limited period, Etisalat is offering the phone for free on three post-paid and one prepaid plan.

For AED 250, customers get 1GB data and 100 flexi minutes on an 18-month postpaid plan, while for AED 400 they will receive a 10GB data package and 300 flexi minutes also on an 18-month plan. Users can also get the new phone on a 12-month plan for AED250 with 10GB data, 300 flexi minutes plus an AED 500 upfront discount.

Etisalat’s prepaid customers meanwhile, will receive 1GB of free data for the first month (AED99 after one month), for AED2,999.

The unique offers are in line with Etisalat’s recent strategy of offering attractive packages for smartphone users. Customers will also be able to take advantage of Etisalat’s 4G LTE network, which covers 80 per cent of the inhabited area of the country and allows users of 4G phones to connect to the internet at speeds up to 150 Mbps.
