Ghantoot ADCB and Abu Dhabi won the first matches of the Bentley Emirates Dubai Polo Gold Cup, the
most important trophy of the UAE, that began today at the Dubai Polo & Equestrian Club and Desert Palm
Polo Club.

Ghantoot ADCB, Mc Laren Silver Cup champion, defeated Desert Palm 1 by 7 goals to 5 in the opening
match of the Bentley Emirates Dubai Polo Gold Cup.

In the second match of the day, Abu Dhabi did the same with Zedan by 6 goals to 4.

Both matches were really tight and finally decided for the winners in the last minutes of the fourth chukka.
Ghantoot ADCB had a strong battle against Desert Palm 1 in four tight chukkas where the winner finally
could achieve the victory in the last minutes of the game after two great actions by Facundo Sola.

Ghantoot: 1-1/ 2-2/ 5-4/ 7-5
The second match of the day, between Abu Dhabi and Zedan had a similar story.

Both teams had a come and go game with Abu Dhabi finally achieving a two goal difference in the last
minutes of the match thanks to Juan Jose Storni, the mvp of the game.

Abu Dhabi: 1-1/ 3-2/ 4-3/ 6-4
The Bentley Emirates Gold Cup will continue tomorrow with two matches at the Dubai Polo & Equestrian
Club.

At 2.30 pm, Edrees Polo will face Desert Palm 2, finalist of the Mc Laren Silver Cup.The second match of the day will be held by UAE Polo against Bin Drai from 4 pm.
