The Capital Police Directorate honored its distinguished staff members and strategic partners, including those who contributed to the 2nd Regional Conference of Women Police. The honoring ceremony was attended by Major General Mohammed bin Al Awadhi Al Menhali, Director General of Police Operations at Abu Dhabi Police.
Major General Al Awadhi stressed that this ceremony underscores the attention dedicated by the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters to honorees and top achievers. He also highlighted the efforts of the Capital Police in combating crime. Moreover, he expressed his heartfelt appreciation for top achievers at the directorate and the Emirates Women Police Association (EWPA) commending their role to achieve the coveted goals.
In his speech at the ceremony, Brigadier Maktoum Al Sharifi, Director of the Capital Police Directorate emphasized that this accolade is an incentive for the honorees to pursue excellence and a role model to emulate for others, so as to improve police work and maintain security and stability. He also praised the cooperation of partners in supporting police and security work.
Brigadier Maktoum Al Sharifi handed over to Major General Mohammed bin Al Awadhi Al Menhali a commemorative gift, in recognition of his efforts. He also distributed certificates and commemorative shields to the honorees from the directorate, as well as to the sponsors, partners, and members of the Association.
