The Abu Dhabi Police, represented by the Decision-Making Support Center, organized an introductory workshop to acquaint staff members with issues regarding promotions. The workshop was organized in cooperation with the Employees Affairs Department and was held at the Abu Dhabi Police Officers Club.
Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al Hammadi, Chief of Research Auditing Section at the Decision-Making Support Center, introduced the workshop’s issues, including officers of the first category to be promoted from the rank of Captain to the rank of Major. The second category included the rank of Major and other higher rankings.
Moreover, Dr. Al Hammadi explained the importance of scientific research in the development of security work through a number of new standards, represented in the development proposals, through which the problems and constraints the officers face while performing their work are reviewed. He also tackled the proposals used to develop work and their link to the priorities and strategic objectives related to departments’ initiatives in the field of security, in addition to other relevant topics.
In the second part of the workshop, Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al Hammadi, described the electronic registration form for the Minister of Interior’s Award for Scientific Research.
