The Police College celebrated the graduation of 38 officers from different sectors at the Ministry of Interior after completing three specialized courses. The courses; “Excellence in Performance”, “Assessment using RADAR Tool”, and “Certified Knowledge Manager Course” were organized by the Officers Training Institute at Al Ittihad hall at the Police College.
The ceremony was attended by Colonel Saif Ali Al Kutbi, Police College Director; heads of departments and chiefs of sections; Major Abdullah Mohammed Al Suwaidi, from the Officers Training Institute; as well as a number of officers from the Police College and the Training Institute.
Colonel Al Kutbi reiterated the Ministry of Interior’s commitment to develop the skills and competencies of its staff members according to the training plan. This plan, which keeps pace with current developments, embodies the police leadership’s instructions to constantly advance the training system and hone officers’ skills.
He also added that the courses aim at developing the knowledge, abilities, and skills of the participants about the concept and models of excellence in performance. They are also designed to enhance their skills in terms of total quality management concepts and applications using the EFQM Excellence Model. At the end of the graduation ceremony, Colonel Al Kutbi awarded certificates to the graduates.
