The conference aims to address vital issues facing national security in the world and will review the necessary technologies to meet the challenges.
The conference will be held at the Armed Forces Officers Club the day before the launch of ISNR Abu Dhabi (the International Exhibition for Security and National Resilience), which is scheduled to run from 1st-3rd April at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Centre, ADNEC.
The Conference, organised by the Ministry of Interior in collaboration with Reed Exhibitions, will be attended by senior experts in the field of safety and security, and police commanders, who will discuss methods of international cooperation to support national security and stability.
The conference will cover topics relating to the protection of national borders, roads and control issues and areas of application of the law, as well as the participation of professional experts in the field of security from around the world, by providing studies and specialised working papers.
Major General Dr. Obaid Al Ketbi, Deputy Commander of Abu Dhabi Police and Chairman of the Organising Committee of ISNR Abu Dhabi 2014, said, "We are keen to address all security issues under one umbrella. We expect the event to attract renowned experts and decision makers from the public and private sectors in the region. The huge uptake for the event emphatically reflects Abu Dhabi’s growing status in security and national resilience.
The event will also bring together representatives of government bodies, exhibitors and buyers of integrated security and safety solutions from sectors such as oil and gas, ports, airports, and banks.
