Colonel Salim Ali Al Qattam Al Zaabi, Director General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Abu Dhabi, reviewed the proposals submitted by staff members that aim to improve work performance at the General Directorate of Residence and Foreigners Affairs in Abu Dhabi, and take part in the Minister of Interior’s Excellence Award.
This took place during the first meeting that Colonel Al Zaabi held in his office with the directorate’s staff members as part of the “You are the Foundation” initiative for 2014. It is worth mentioning that the General Directorate launched this initiative to urge staff members to demonstrate further innovation and excellence in their work.
“This initiative was developed to collect ideas, proposals and feedback from the staff members, in a bid to collectively improve work. This approach falls in line with the police leadership’s directives to promote communication, interaction, and motivation among employees. It also underscores the commitment of the General Directorate of Residence and Foreigners Affairs in Abu Dhabi to communicate and interact with staff members to identify their needs, level of job satisfaction, and knowledge of regulations regarding the daily workflow,” said Colonel Al Zaabi.
He also highlighted the importance of reinforcing staff members’ sense of loyalty and belonging, developing their creative potential, motivating them to exert further excellence and innovation, provide creative ideas and constructive proposals, cope with work-related pressures, and improve customer service and reception in order to give an outstanding reflection of their institution.
