‘AVENUE AT ETIHAD TOWERS’ – Abu Dhabi’s first standalone luxury shopping destination – is bringing the Alif Art Gallery exhibition to Avenue for the second time. Showcasing pieces from Uzbekartist Timur Ernst Akhmedov, the exhibition will run from 1st February to 13th February 2014.|
Throughout his career, Timur Ernst Akhmedovhas been recognised worldwide by exhibiting in countlessvenues that include Russia, Uzbekistan and the United Kingdom. His work is also displayed in a varietyof international private and corporate collection and his famous collectors include musician Seal, Dr. M.W.J. Smurfit and His Serene Highness Prince Albert of Monaco.Timur Ernst Akhmedovis also member of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan.
During the exhibition, the Alif Art Gallery at AVENUE AT ETIHAD TOWERS will showcase Timur Ernst Akhmedov’smasterpiece, ‘Northern Song’ which will be unveiled at the opening ceremony on 2nd February.The piece, which is an enchanting forest landscape is described as a ‘delicate piece of tapestry woven from tree branches, icy air with delicate shimmering warm and cool shades.’
Dubai-based Alif Art Gallery was founded by Natalya Andakulova to promote understanding of Central Asia’s rich art culture in the Middle East and beyond.
Visitors are welcome to meet Timur Ernst Akhmedovat the opening ceremony at 7.30pm on 2nd February 2014 in AVENUE AT ETIHAD TOWERS. The Alif Art Gallery exhibition will be on display from 1st February to 13th February 2014.
